Great Crystal International School

To achieve a head start in our globalized society - The pre-school at Great Crystal is a hybird of learning styles featuring a modified Montessori program with full immersion in the English language.
Our program in ‘Montessori’ in that we provide a prepared environment for sensorial, self-directed learning experiences, and that we recognize the child’s true nature by learning through creative play, yet there is a form to that freedom; we have clear benchmarks and standards in learning outcomes. We also differ from some full Montessori programs in that we do not use multi-age grouping.

On primary levels, the education program becomes more formal and structured cooperative learning is introduced to enhance communication and social skills. At this stage in their education, students start being involved in extracurricular activities.

Great Crystal Secondary School prepare for both National (UN) and International Examinations (Cambridge International Exams).
Secondary 1 and 2, students are introduced to fundamental concepts of IGCSE subjects such as Humanities, Pure Sciences and Mathematics as well as basic skills and elements in English.
Secondary 3 students are more focused on the National Examination (UN).
Secondary 4 students will have to choose between Science and Humanities, and will take the IGCSE or GCE ‘O’ level exams in May - June session students in this year will sit for 5 subjects in exams.
