Bina Bangsa School is a young, growing and vibrant school. Established in 2001, Bina Bangsa School has quickly distinguished itself for its academic excellence. In BBS, students undergo a rigorous programme modelled after the Singapore curriculum. BBS provides quality education to students ranging from Pre-School to Junior College levels. Our students sit for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the International 'A' Levels examination offered by Cambridge University. BBS aims to nurture leaders who strive to be the best that they can be through lifelong learning, and also grounded in the Word of God. The BBS family consists of 5 campuses located in Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang and Malang and has a total enrolment of more than 3000 students. Our teaching fraternity is staffed by 250 qualified and experienced teachers representing over 12 countries, bringing with them diverse cultures and experiences to enrich students' learning.
Besides, pursuing academic excellence, BBS also has a framework to develop our students holistically through the following programmes:

Our Kebon Jeruk and Bandung Pre-school offers a well thought-out 3-year programme for children aged 3-6. The programme consists of Nursery, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2. Our Pre-school operates daily, five days a week, with schooling hours ranging from 3 hours to 5 hours each day.
We aim to ensure our students benefit in the best possible way in their cognitive, physical, social and emotional experiences in school by striking a balance between academic and play approach towards learning.

Welcome to BBS Primary School
The Primary school is made up of a four-year foundation stage from Primary 1 to 4 and a two-year orientation stage from Primary 5 to 6. The general objective of primary school education is to give students a good understanding of English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics. The main focus of the Primary School education is to develop language ability, reasoning skills and independence in performing daily tasks. In addition to their academic abilities, we hope that our graduating primary school students
are capable of telling the right from wrong

At the end of primary school education, students sit for the BBS-PSLE (Primary School Leaving Examination) to gain entry into Secondary school.
Admission Criteria
Children whose dates of birth fall before 31 July of the current school year are eligible to attend the following grade levels :

Prior to entering, every child must be properly enrolled through the Administration Office. Only a limited number of students who require assistance in English Language will be admitted into the school. The school provides a grace period of up to 3 (three) months till 31 October for children who do not meet the minimum age requirements stipulated above.

YI is a learning experience that seeks to give students the chance to integrate their knowledge from different areas of learning, and apply them in real life situations. With proven track records and a holistic approach towards education, Bina Bangsa Secondary School prepares your child to excel in the IGCSE program.
What is IGCSE?
IGCSE stands for International General Certificate of Secondary Education.
It is an international examination offered, set and marked by examiners in the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. This qualification allows students to be accepted into high schools in Australia, USA, UK, Canada, and New Zealand; Junior Colleges and Polytechnics in Singapore; Foundation Programmes in Australia; and Community Colleges in the USA.
Admission will be based on students meeting the minimum entry requirements of the intended schools, polytechnics and colleges.
Bina Bangsa School is an authorized University of Cambridge International Examination Centre.

Students who show exceptional ability in the musical instrument of their choice will be invited to be a part of the school orchestra. To date, four of our students have played with the prestigious Jakarta Twilite Youth Orchestra and they have staged performances in school and in public arenas.

Complimenting our academic programme is a diversity of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The purpose is to develop the spirit of working as a team and leadership skills and other non-academic abilities.

Welcome to BBS Junior College
The biggest challenge for students as they enter Junior College is learning to balance academic study with co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and out-of-school interests. The goal of most students in Junior College is tertiary education at an overseas or local university.
What is International “A” Level?
At the end of the 2 or 3-year Junior College Programme, students sit for the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom International “A” Level examinations, which are set and marked by examiners in Cambridge.
“A” grades in 3-4 A-:eve; examination subjects meet the minimum entry requirements to top universities such as Harvard, MIT, Yale, Stanford, Cambridge, Oxford, etc.
“A” and “B” grades in 3-4 A-Level examination subjects meet the minimum entry requirements to good universities such as NUS, NTU, UNSW, University of Berkeley, University of Sydney, UC Berkeley, etc.
Most Australian universities require only 2 “A” Level passes.

1. 1-year Junior College Bridging Program
- For those students who have graduate from local SMP 3 and wishing to join the BBS Junior College Programme,
- Upon Successful completion of the bridging programe, students are automatically admitted into the 2-year Junior College Programme.
