Learning is not a one-way street, and here at Little Einstein, we appreciate what each student brings to the table. Each child is unique in his/her own way and it would not be fair to limit their creativity by following a dictatorial teaching style. With this in mind, our small-classes are designed specifically to encourage more one-on-one interactions between the teachers and the students, as well as amongst the students themselves. We encourage students to explore their own interests so they will become confident individuals.

Oxford Reading Tree

Oxford Reading Tree is one of the most popular reading schemes in the world to help young children learn how to read and write. Every book in the scheme tells a complete story. Young children can remember a simple story told in natural sounding language. ORT is divided into stages. As children progress on to each new stage the stories gradually increase in number of words and the difficulty of the sentences.

ORT has a proven track record and is used successfully in thousands of schools all over the world. ORT makes reading enjoyable and motivating to the children for the stories are based on familiar situations and experiences and therefore your children can easily relate to the characters. The vocabulary and sentence structures in each book are mostly repetitive and predictable following a pattern of subject, verb, and object. This is the reason why children picks up the new sight words and the high frequency words in the book easily and successfully. The gradual increase in key words and grammatical structures means that your children will acquire new skills and vocabulary at their own pace.

Each book of the ORT series has a clear storyline with a beginning, middle, and end making it easy for children to follow and understand. There is a direct link between the pictures and the text making it easier for your children to recognize words and predict language.

Oxford Reading Tree books are bright, interesting and appealing to young readers. There is real humor in the illustrations, and the language is concise, but not contrived. These books are modern, with great content and genuinely interesting topics, which appeal to both boys and girls. ORT is certainly a great resource in our class teaching, fitting in very well with daily 'Letters and Sounds' phonics sessions.

Montessori Learning Center

Maria Montessori believes that "children themselves must observe, understand, remember, formed judgement, and learn the new language by laborious exercise and long experience." With that in mind, our Learning Center gives children the freedom to explore and develop their interest through a series of repetitive exercises. We provide a vast variety of Montesorri Educational Toys in the Learning Center to enrich the child's linguistic, mathematics, scientific, and motor-development skills. With the combination of our theme-based and Montessori-inspired Learning Center, the children can learn and develop knowledge by imitating real life activities through role play. Recognizing that role play is an effective vehicle for children's learning, our "Learning Centers", available to all levels, is created to nurture their curiosity.
