Tentang Lembaga

Our History

Life Community School was founded in 2010 as a result of our prayerful desire to offer exceptional education to our children that would impact them for a lifetime. John Dewey quoted, “Education is not preparation for life; education is life itself. Education is a lifelong journey in one’s life. It has no finite time frame". That was one of the basic principles that started us in founding the school. God reminded us in Proverbs 22:6, “Teach a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it”. From that Biblical truth, we searched for a curriculum which:

Educates our children strongly based on The Bible as the book of truth and life
Inspires our children with Godly characters which are embedded in the curriculum itself

Motivates each unique individual to be at the level where he/she can perform best
Guides a child to find his God-given potential and use it for God’s glory
Allows parents to get involved during the learning process
Promotes learning as a constant process regardless of time and place.

By the grace of God, we have found Accelerated Christian Education as the vehicle for our education journey. Let us learn from Martin Luther who said, “I advise no one to place his child where the Scriptures do not reign paramount". We believe as we continue on this journey together, we will leave a legacy of unshakeable foundational. Truths to our children and the generations to follow. CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) curriculum provides 6 distinctive and crucial points in shaping a child into a whole being throughout his/her educational journey in the school:

Biblical Worldview

Students will be taught to see God, world, people and cultures from the Bible’s perspective.

Individualised Instruction

Learning instructions built in the respective PACE are written at each student’s level of understanding.

Mastery-Learning Methodology

Our curriculum consists of :

Diagnostic Testing

Each student entering the A.C.E. program is given diagnostic tests to determine skill and concept mastery. The diagnostic tests assist the evaluator in determining the student’s academic needs in each subject. After the student completes the diagnostic testing, he is prescribed curriculum that will challenge him proportionally according to his performance level.
