Seven Medals Curriculum

Children in their early years are in their ‘golden age’ for learning. Our Seven Medals Curriculum© is designed with care to ensure children enjoy a holistic development and that their learning during this ‘golden age’ is maximised.

Our curriculum is aimed at enabling children to be intellectually, morally and spiritually rich. The curriculum encourages entrepreneurial learning and aims at developing leadership skills and qualities.

Leaders Academy have the Primary Academic Curriculum (PAC) are concentrated studies in English and Mathematics to prepare the entrance for national/international primary school. Our Seven Medals Curriculum© comprises the following seven areas of development:

1. Languages (English and Bahasa Indonesia) (PAC)

2. Mathematics (PAC)

3. Moral Education / Religion

4. Expressive Arts (Physical Activity, Health and Intellectual Creativity)

5. Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany)

6. Social Studies (History, Geography and Citizenship)

7. Leadership (Entrepreneur learning)

Our Programs

Little Leaders Academy program supports children’s social, emotional, physical, nutritional, intellectual and moral development as a whole in a purposeful environment, supported by the Montessori Philosophy, best practices and our unique Seven Medals Curriculum. Our Little Leaders are divided into several programs:

Mayors (2 years old)

Teaching faculty in this area will encourage early learning with Montessori philosophy of education integrated with the 7 Medals Curriculum. Staff will also work with children to encourage and complete potty training, independent eating, early reading program, etc. so that they are able to move on to the Preschool Program.

Governors (3 years old)

The preschool program is designed with teachers who work to focus on preparing your child for the next level of curriculum at Leaders Academy. This includes phonetics, numbers, writing your child's name, and social and emotional development, gymnastic and learning to care for them.

Ministers (4 years old)

The pre-kindergarten program is designed to prepare children in social skills, character development, mathematics, and reading and writing. With reading and writing, the program focuses on oral language, phonological awareness, letter knowledge, and print knowledge. The program is overall designed with schedules and activities that will make the transition into kindergarten an easy one for your child.

Presidents (5 years old)

With smaller class sizes, the ability for small group instruction is made easier. Skills covered in kindergarten include moral education, character development, social skills, mathematics, writing workshop, guided reading groups, and inclusion of science through non-fiction literature and various hands-on science experiments. There is an emphasis placed on developing reading skills through phonics lessons and sight word practice. When leaving kindergarten your child will be ready to enter into first grade with confidence.
